I’m a new agent. How can I start using Cluett?
If you’re a new agent binding coverage with us for the first time we require a copy of your current agency license, current E&O Dec. Page and FEIN. This information can be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org, or faxed to 781-585-4180. Cluett does not require any premium or volume commitments from agents.
What will I receive for commissions?
Commissions vary from program to program with workers’ compensation programs paying on average 5-8%. Cluett pays commissions as we are paid from our carriers.
Do you have a program for insured’s with no prior coverage or new business ventures?
Yes, we currently have an internet program that will write these risks subject to eligible class, underwriting criteria and minimum premium. Some state minimums are as low as $2,000. Please click on Programs Section for state specific amounts.
What’s the turnaround once I send a completed submission to your office?
With our Internet Programs we can provide a quote within 24-48 hours. In many instances we provide same day quotes. Upon request we can turnaround quotes from our internet programs immediately.
What are the benefits of using your Agent Site?
As a registered agent you will receive quicker turnaround and updates on all your submissions. You have the ability to download and print quotes and request to bind coverage on line within minutes. New business can be sent to our underwriters by Quick Quote, completion of our on line Acord or attachment of your Acord Application. Each submission is given a reference number and can be tracked throughout the review and quoting process. Agents also receive email updates on a regular basis.
Why use Quick Quote?
Our Quick Quote Process allows us to pre-screen your submissions without having to complete an entire Acord Application. In some cases, based upon the information provided we may be able to provide an actual quote. To complete the process an Acord Application is still required with any further carrier specific requirements.
What are the billing options for your programs?
All of our programs are direct bill with payment plans varying by premium size & program. When a quote is issued, the payment options are listed. Financing is also an option and can be coordinated through our office.
What are the minimum premiums for your program?
Minimum premiums vary by state and program. Depending upon the state and class of business some programs start as low as bureau minimum. A detailed description is listed under our Program Section.
I have a risk with multiple state locations, can you quote this?
Yes, the vast majority of our carriers will entertain multi-state exposures however, this is subject to states in which the carrier is writing business.
