Assigned Risk Program
Due to the changing climate in the Massachusetts Workers' Compensation Market it has become more difficult to find a voluntary market for certain types of business. In some cases the Assigned Risk Pool may be the only option.
At Cluett Insurance Services Inc. we want to be able to service all our agents' needs. Also, just because your insured is written in the pool there are many services available to assist with their workers' compensation needs. Cluett Commercial works closely with Stephenson & Brook, a Risk Management Company providing claims/case management and loss control services. If the insured qualifies for their certified QLMP Program credits are available. For further information on ( their) change to this program see www.stephensonandbrook.com.
Here are just a few of the many benefits to our agents:
- Cluett will complete the assigned risk applications
- Cluett will provide the letters of declination
- Cluett will submit the paperwork
- Cluett can coordinate services of a QLMP for your insured if qualified.
- Cluett can provide premium financing if required.
- Two copies of the completed MA Assigned Risk Application are required with original signatures on both. Producers should also make a copy of the application for their files.
- Deposit Check along with both signed applications should be returned to Cluett Insurance Services, Inc. Check should be made payable to: The Massachusetts Workers' Compensation Assigned Risk Pool (MWCARP)
- Cluett Insurance Services, Inc. will charge a onetime $50 fee to the producer for processing the application. Commissions will be split on a 50/50 basis. The processing fee of $50 should be made out to: Cluett Insurance Services, Inc. and returned with the deposit and applications.
